Sākuru Concept Watch (WIP)
(Work In Process) Sākuru is a minimal yet hi-tech concept watch made out of wood. I love the idea of a wearable device that has to be discovered by the users and other people to understand how it works. By having a circular shape attached to the wrist people would read it as a watch but since they don't see any display, confusion would lead to interaction and questioning. The device is thought to display basic smartwatch functions using an LED matrix that would be covered by a thin piece of wood. It would connect to your smartphone and would notify upcoming calls, messages and any other relevant information.
